Let's face it, the self-evident truth that a man, woman or child has a right to possess a weapon for self-defense should be obvious to everyone. The United States of America won its independence to freedom because the population was armed. Criminals that mis-use firearms for criminal activities do not obey laws. To think laws against tougher gun control and regulation will reduce crime is absurd. Actually, history does repeat itself and the most modern case of effective gun control that disarmed the citenzry and brought in fachism was none other than Adolf Hitler.
